Tim Owens is a professional drummer and educator from Ajax, ON. He has been drumming since the age of 8 and began playing in his church band at 11. Since then, he has gone on to perform and tour with artists such as Katie Tupper, Majo, and Amaka, as well as many artists, bands and churches across the Greater Toronto Area. A graduate with honours from Metalworks Institute’s Music Performance & Technology program, Tim studied under renowned drummers Dave Patel and Alek Sekulovski.
With over 10 years of private teaching experience, Tim is passionate about helping students grow as musicians while sharing the skills he’s developed through years of live performance, studio recording, and music directing at Pickering Pentecostal Church.
